Communicare is one of the leading providers of Paediatric Homecare Support Services in Ireland. We work closely with the HSE and other relevant agencies to deliver the high-quality care supports required for children and young adults with complex medical needs and life-limiting conditions to live their lives as fully as possible, for as long as possible, at home with their families.

Our experienced healthcare professionals, guided by a team of qualified RCN Client Care Managers, work hard to understand and tend to the clinical and personal needs of this very special cohort of clients, many of whom require assistance with issues including the administration of medication, specialised feeding, and airway and seizure management.

We appreciate that this service requires particular skills and experience, which is why we ensure that each nurse we recruit has extensive experience of caring for paediatric clients in acute settings. Once onboard, all of these nurses also attend Communicare’s Specialist Paediatric Training Academy – unrivalled in the industry – and participate in a number of shadow shifts before commencing work with a new client.
