Details
Based in our Tullamore office, the successful candidate will work with our Paediatric Clinical Director and the team in the management of our paediatric division. This role oversees a nationwide portfolio of Clients, Field Staff, and Client Care Managers, while ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered through a person-centred model.
The Paediatric Divisional Manager will be a natural leader with the ability to develop and supervise effective clinical teams. The ability to empower, lead, and motivate a strong working unit is an essential requirement to be successful in this role.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with RCN accreditation and possess strong clinical skills. This role comprises of both clinical and managerial responsibilities, with a key focus on the care and supervision of children living with enduring and life limiting conditions within the community.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the clinical management team in workforce planning, to deliver on our paediatric service strategy
- Support the Paediatric Clinical Director in the development and delivery of cross-service quality standards of care
- Relationship management
- Effective management of the day-to-day operations of the paediatric division
- Consulting with our multi-disciplinary team pre and post discharge in conjunction with regional Client Care Managers to ensure effective protocols, communications, and relationships between families, HSE, nursing division and relevant stakeholders
- Ongoing auditing of the paediatric division to include site visits to children/families/staff to support effective care planning and staff wellbeing
- Represent Communicare at key stakeholder meetings and events
Requirements
- Registered Children’s Nurse
- Strong clinical experience
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and time management
- Good business acumen
- Ability to show empathy and compassion
- Full/Clean Driving Licence

- Previous clinical management experience
