Our Specialised Paediatric staff assist with activities of daily living, hygiene, feeding, and meal preparation, light house-keeping duties, transport to and from healthcare facilities, companionship and prompting medication administration.

Crumlins Children’s Hospital has become the ‘’hub’’ for the centre of children’s nurse education in partnership with the satellite centres located at Temple Street Children’s University Hospital  and The National Children’s Hospital, Tallaght. With a new hospital set to be built on a campus shared with St. James’s Hospital. The hospital, which will open in 2020, will merge the three existing hospitals in Crumlin, Temple St and Tallaght. This shows Irelands commitment to improve on the paediatric care already provided and will hopefully be a leap forward in the quality of care delivered.

The CCNE facilitate and deliver continuing education, training and professional development programmes for Registered Nurses and appropriate support staff within the three Children’s Hospitals and for services nationally which provide healthcare for children, within available resources.
