As the main sponsor, Communicare Healthcare were delighted to continue our support for this event as a show of our appreciation for the outstanding contributions of Regional Hospitals to communities across the country, in particular in their development of discharge services enabling individuals to benefit from care and rehabilitation in their own homes.

We have established working partnerships with this years’ beneficiaries. Our Paediatric Homecare Services have worked with the Paediatrics Special Care Baby Units of the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar and Mayo Univerisity Hospital, Castlebar, while our Disabilities Homecare Services have a long history working with the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Dun Laoghaire.

Last year’s inaugural event raised €96,424 for the chosen charities, with this years run aiming to break €100,000, a phenomenal achievement for a new fundraiser. Funds raised will be used to buy equipment for the chosen charities.
